Put on Credit Hold
If a customer is behind on paying their account invoices, you can set their account to On Credit Hold. This can be set manually, or accounts can automatically be put on Credit Hold.
Putting an account on Credit Hold prevents the customer from using any active services on the account and only allows them to pay any outstanding bills when they login to the CORE control panel.
To put a customer account onto Credit Hold, please see the steps below:
1. Login to Vuzion CORE https://core.infinigate.cloud/
2. Once logged in, click on Classic Panel in the top navigation bar
3. Click Billing in the top right corner, then under Operations click on Customers
4. Search for the customer name you wish to put on Credit Hold, and click Search
5. Click on the customer’s account name and scroll down to the bottom of the page
6. You will now see seven buttons along the bottom of the screen, click on Put On Credit Hold
7. You will now have the option to either suspend the whole account, or just unpaid subscriptions. Enter a reason from the drop-down menu and complete the Comments section. Now click Put On Credit Hold.
Please see an example below:
The customer’s account status will now show as Credit Hold:

Put On Hold
Put On Hold is very similar to Put On Credit Hold, as they both perform the same function – they stop services on a customer’s account and provide very restricted access in the customer’s CORE Control Panel. Put On Hold should be used in circumstances where you wish to stop services on a customer’s account for non-financial reasons.
6. You will now see seven buttons along the bottom of the screen, click on Put On Hold
7. This will automatically put the customer account into a status of Administrative Hold
To remove the hold, simply repeat steps 1>5 and click Release From Hold
The account will then be placed back into an Active status.
